This logo I made for the Downtown Espresso café in Amherstburg. They had a competition in 2021 for St. Clair and University of Windsor students to make a total rebrand of their café. Me and a couple other people from Enactus entered the competition. After about 2 months of designing and presentations, my team and I actually won the competition and this was the new logo I made for the café. The drawing at the top is a sketch of what Downtown Amherstburg looked like back in the day, using a photo we were provided as a reference. Since this café prided themselves on being in Amherstburg and loved their history, I decided to include this into the logo. They’re known for having the best coffee in town since they opened in 1992, so of course I had to add that into the logo. I mocked up the logo onto a to-go coffee cup that they’d use and on a window in front of their cafe.
