Take Up More Space was a campaign a woman was starting to encourage women to get involved in STEM careers, specifically becoming an astronaut like her. To commemorate her and also make a play on words with the name of the campaign, I decided to draw a female astronaut for the logo. I made the font a bolder type face to match the campaign, and I also made “more” a different font and slightly larger so it stands out. I made it a dark purple instead of black because black was too harsh against the light colours of the astronaut suit and the dark purple matched better. I mocked up the logo on a potential t-shirt they'd sell as merchandise.
